Future Group has partnered with Midwinter to introduce digital advice capabilities aimed at improving member confidence and retirement outcomes.
The first phase of the digital advice rollout is now available to Future Super members through the Future Super app.
The partnership is intended to make personalised retirement advice more accessible to members through a digital experience that integrates directly with the existing member app.
The first phase focuses on pre-retirement advice and allows members to:
access retirement projections based on their circumstances
explore contribution and wealth accumulation strategies
review investment options aligned with their preferences and risk appetite
receive real-time guidance and a digitally generated Statement of Advice
complete the process through a self-service digital experience
Member details are pre-populated within the advice journey to reduce friction and simplify the process.
The model is also designed to support our internal advice team, with members still invited to book in with our advice specialists for personal advice and one-on-one support.
“We’ve had a collaborative approach from the outset, allowing us to focus on a clear and collective vision: how we guide our members to a sustainable retirement, while also considering their individual circumstances and goals,” says Future Group General Manager Partnerships and Advice Rosh Singappuli.
The rollout begins with Future Super, with the technology expected to support Future Group’s wider multi-brand offering over time.
Michelle Lusty, Head of Advice Products at Midwinter, said the partnership reflected a shared focus on improving retirement outcomes and putting members first.
“The energy and drive from the Future Group team to stay true to their values and deliver better retirement outcomes to their members has been inspiring,” she says.
